Photographic
Charges
Photography
of objects in the galleries is allowed for personal use only.
Colchester
Museums can supply images required for publication (prints,
negatives, transparencies, etc) in accordance with the scale
charges given in the downloadable Photographic
Charges information.

Photographic Reproduction Fees
If
you wish to publish an object, you must obtain written permission
first. Please write to Theresa Calver, Administration Assistant
at Colchester Museums or e-mail theresa.calver@colchester.gov.uk
giving full details of the publication and object(s) you wish
to reproduce. Colchester Museums normally charges reproduction
fees for all uses of images, plus a copy of the publication
for our library. Details of the charges are given in the downloadable

Still Photography and Filming Fees
TV,
film companies, etc wishing to film objects or areas within
Colchester Museums should contact Marie Taylor, Marketing

Conservation
Our conservation service undertakes a variety of work for outside organisations and other museums. In addition to archaeological and social history conservation we can offer x-raying, environmental surveys and collections care advice.
