Egyptian Mummy and Coffin

Ancient Egytian mummy and coffin of Lady Tahathor. Previous claims that the mummy and coffin were from the Valley of the Kings and were Ptolemaic in date has been proved wrong. Judging by the style of the coffin it is from a cemetery in Thebes. The style of the coffin also indicates a late 25th or early 26th Dynasty date (7th century BC).
